The Masterpiece: Mushkin Astronaut Edition

Standing as the definitive centerpiece of the exhibition is the Mushkin Astronaut. This sculpture represents a milestone in the evolution of MRKREME’s (Varagun Chongthanapipat) practice. This work marks the artist’s debut into celestial themes, making it a "one-of-a-kind" entry in his growing portfolio.

Technical Mastery & Composition

The sculpture is a formidable presence, measuring 130cm x 150cm. It is meticulously crafted from premium fiberglass. What distinguishes this piece is its "unordinary" finish—a complex, multi-layered paint job that utilizes:

• High-Gloss Metallics: To evoke the retro-futurism of space exploration.

• Glitter Infusions: Capturing the shifting light of distant nebulae.

• Fluorescent Accents: Providing a depth of color that feels alive under varied lighting.

The Signature Gaze

Central to the soul of the piece is the hallmark of the MRKREME identity: the hyper-realistic, translucent eyes. Eschewing standard production methods, each eye was slowly handcrafted. The artist painted the interior of the pupil before casting it separately with surgical precision. This technique creates a depth of field that makes Mushkin appear to track the viewer. It brings a vibrant, soulful energy to the inanimate form.

Unrivaled Scarcity: The Limited Edition of Five

To maintain the utmost integrity and value for the serious collector, the Mushkin Astronaut is strictly limited to an edition of only 5 pieces worldwide. This ultra-low edition count ensures that the sculpture remains a rare artifact within the MRKREME canon.

Created exclusively for this specific exhibition at Central Embassy, these five pieces represent a closed chapter in the artist’s history. Once they are acquired, this specific cosmic iteration will never be reproduced. For the discerning investor, this is not merely a purchase, but the acquisition of a pivotal moment in contemporary pop surrealism. This is guaranteed by its extreme scarcity and the singular nature of "The Fluffy Galaxy" debut.
